How To Get All Starters In Pokemon Scarlet & Violet: Quaxly, Fuecoco, Sprigatito

The world of Pokemon Scarlet and Violet features three adorable new starters: Quaxly, Fuecoco, and Sprigatito. Of course, like every Pokemon game, you only get to choose one starter to join you on your quest. But that doesn't mean you can't get all three of them eventually added to your Pokedex. So let's here's how to capture Quaxly, Fuecoco, and Sprigatito in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet so you can have all three iconic starters from the Paldea region on your team!

Are Pokemon Scarlet & Violet Starters Found In The Wild?

Unfortunately, none of the three starters in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet can be found in the wild. Just like in all previous Pokemon games, the starters in the Paldea region cannot be captured in the wild. So even after you have completed the game, you won't be able to find Quaxly, Fuecoco, or Sprigatito out roaming in the tall grass as you adventure.

How To Get All Three Starters In Pokemon Scarlet & Violet

Even though the starters in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet cannot be captured in the wild, another way to add them to your Pokedex is by trading them with your friends, either online or locally. If you have multiple devices or copies of Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, you can exchange the starters between your own devices.

Of course, for this method to work, you'll need to find two other people with the two starters you have yet to capture and ask them to trade with you. In addition, you will want to breed your starter with a Ditto before going with this method; otherwise, you won't have enough copies of your own starter to send.
