The Auction House in Scarlet and Violet is located at Porto Marinada and is fully available after you beat the Water-type Gym. The Auction House allows you to bid for a lot of different rare items. They are fixed until a certain amount of time passes. You will have to wait at least 2 hours before the items change.

To force it to change, you will actually have to change the time on the Nintendo Switch itself. You will want to have Scarlet and Violet closed first, then you need to go to the System Settings and go to the System menu. Finally, hit the Date and Time option and add 2 hours or more to reset the items at the Auction House.

What Can You Get At The Auction House In Scarlet And Violet

One of the reasons why players like using the Auction House is that there are a lot of different rare items that you can get from this location. For example, you can get the Apriballs which are very rare Pokeballs that cannot be bought at any shop. Apriballs include the Fast Ball, Level Ball, Lure Ball, Heavy Ball, Love Ball, Friend Ball, Moon Ball, and Dream Ball.

On top of that, you can also get regular and Gold Bottle Caps. These are very important items to have if you are training your Pokemon for competitive battles. There are also special items available that you can only get if you have certain Pokemon, such as the Rusted Sword if you have Zacian in your party.
