How To Get Shiny Paradox Pokemon In Scarlet & Violet

If you are interested in learning how to shiny hunt Paradox Pokemon, this is the guide for you.
How To Get Shiny Paradox Pokemon In Scarlet & Violet

In recent Pokemon titles, there have been special Pokemon that seem to be part of a different "species" but in the end, are still Pokemon. In Sun and Moon, these Pokemon were Ultra Beasts. In Scarlet and Violet, they are what is known as Paradox Pokemon. Paradox Pokemon in Scarlet come from the distant past and in Violet, Paradox Pokemon comes from the distant future.

In Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, you can meet these Paradox Pokemon in Area Zero. As you play the game, you might become interested in shiny hunting these special Pokemon. Here, we will guide you on how you can Shiny Hunt Paradox Pokemon.

How To Start Shiny Hunting Paradox Pokemon In Scarlet And Violet

Shiny Hunting Paradox Pokemon actually works like many other shiny hunts. The only problem is the limitations of Area Zero. Area Zero is a rather small area but it has many biomes. These Biomes will help dictate where Paradox Pokemon will spawn.

The first thing you will actually want to do is beat the main story of Scarlet and Violet. Once you do that, you will have free and easy access to Area Zero and you can move around much easier this way.

The second thing you need to do is pick a target shiny Paradox Pokemon. The reason for this is if you do not actively choose which Pokemon you are going after, you will be looking randomly for a shiny Pokemon instead of having a targeted method of getting a shiny Pokemon.

The third step is to make a sandwich. Sandwiches in this game have various meal powers, such as encounter powers and sparkling powers. Since you know your target Pokemon like Iron Bundle, for example, you can make a sandwich that will give you increased encounter power for Ice Pokemon and Sparkling Power which will increase the chances of you finding a shiny Pokemon. Encounter power will increase your odds of finding a Pokemon of that type, which is very useful for shiny Hunting.

Once you make a sandwich with the proper meal power, you just need to go around the correct biome where that Pokemon typically spawns. Go in and out of that biome until you find a shiny Paradox Pokemon.

How Do I Get Other Version Exclusive Paradox Pokemon?

Let's say you are playing Scarlet but you want to get a Shiny Iron Bundle, there is a way you can still shiny hunt this Pokemon. Unfortunately, there is no way to do it single-player. You willneed a friend that has Pokemon Violet in this case.

If you have a friend that has the opposite version of Pokemon than you, you can actually encounter their version exclusives. Just join a session with them in their world, and you can shiny hunt the opposite Paradox Pokemon as freely as you wish.
