Thunder Punch is an Electric-type move that will deal Physical damage to the opponent. There is also a chance that any enemy that comes into contact with this attack will be paralyzed. Several Pokémon can learn Thunder Punch by leveling up or via evolution. These include:

  • Dragonite
  • Medicham
  • Ampharos
  • Raichu

However, for every other Pokémon, players will need to find the TM068 and teach it to their team members. Unfortunately, the TM for Thunder Punch is not found as a static item. Instead, players will need to gather materials and craft them from the TM Machine.

Before that, players will need to unlock the ability to craft this TM by defeating the Poison Team Star Leader in Tagtree Thicket. Once this requirement has been met, players will need the following items

  • 5000 LP
  • 3 Meditite Sweat
  • 3 Toxel Sparks

Players can easily acquire Meditite Sweat by defeating wild Meditite or Medicham in the following locations:

  • South Province Area Four / Six
  • West Province Area Two
  • The Great Crater of Pakldea
  • South Province Area / Four / Six
  • West Province Area Two

Toxel Sparks can be obtained by defeating Wild Toxel or Toxtricity, which can be found at the following locations:

  • South Province Area Four / Six

The best way to farm these wild Pokemon is by using the Let's Go Feature, which will allow you to quickly knock out Pokemon and collect rewards without entering a traditional battle.

And that's everything you need to know about how to get TM068 Thunder Punch in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. Good luck out there, trainers!
