Cherrim in Pokémon Legends Arceus - location and how to catch

The To Bloom or Not to Bloom quest in Pokémon Legends Arceus will task players to catch a bunch of Cherrim, which can be a frustrating ordeal if you don't know where to look for. Our guide will help you find Cherrim locations and catch them as fast as possible.

Catching a Pokémon in Pokémon Legends Arceus is usually not a particularly hard task when you have the right strategy, but the tricky part is knowing where to find the Pokémon you want to catch.

Luckily, the random factor in Pokémon Legends Arceus is not as prevalent as it is in some other games, and for many Pokémon, you will know reliably where to find them once you discover their location.

But randomness is still present in the latest Pokémon game and that aspect is particularly frustrating when it comes to Cherubi and its evolved form, Cherrim.

While this is not something that will be particularly interesting for your Pokémon squad, you will still need to find enough Cherrim in order to complete Request #17, To Bloom or Not to Bloom, a task that you will be given early in the game.

While this is a side mission, it is still important if you want to complete your research and earn some extra experience in the early game.

Where to find Cherrim in Pokémon Legends Arceus?

Both Cherubi and Cherrim can be found in the same regions, but since Cherrim is Cherubi's evolutionary form and a higher-level Pokémon, chances of finding Cherrim are significantly smaller compared to Cherubi.

Due to the rareness of Cherrim, the best way to catch a decent amount of Cherrim for the mission and your research is simply by catching as much Cherubi as you can, since it is significantly easier to find it, and then evolve them into Cherrim.

But where to search for these two? To find Cherubi and Cherrim, visit the following regions:

  • The Heartwood in the Obsidian Fieldlands
  • The Gapejaw Bog in the Crimson Mirelands
  • Lonely Spring, Fabled Spring, and Primeval Grotto in the Coronet Highlands

The biggest chances for Cherrim to drop are in the Coronet Highlands, while Cherubi will most likely appear in the Obsidian Fieldlands.

In order to catch them, you will need to find swaying trees in these areas and hurl your Pokémon at them, which will prompt a Pokémon to fall out from it and start battling you. There are several Pokémon that can tumble out when you hit wobbling trees, and Cherrim and Cherubi are some of them, so you'll need to be a little bit patient.

When you find a Cherubi, you will need to level it up to 25 before being able to evolve to Cherrim. Rinse and repeat.
