Remnant 2 has the DNA of both SoulsBorne games and looter-shooters like Destiny and Outriders. As you make progress and gigantic bosses, you unlock new unique weapons and items that make you more powerful.
However, defeating bosses isn't the only way to get your hands on some sweet loot. Some weapons can be acquired in more non-conventional ways and, as a result, are easy to miss. The Sorrow Handgun is one such easy-to-miss weapon in Remnant 2, and here's how you can get it.

How to Obtain the Sorrow Crossbow Handgun in Remnant 2
To get the Sorrow Handgun in Remnant 2, you have to first beat the Kaeula's Shadow boss in the Kaeula's Rest region of Yaesha. Doing so will get you the Tear of Kaeula ring, among other things. Hold on to the Ring for now, or equip it to increase your Dragon Heart capacity.
Next, make your way to the Faithless Thicket. Navigate this area until you find an easily distinguishable purple tree. There's an NPC here named Verdant Meidra.
You can talk to Verdant Meidra to know more about Yaesha and its gods, the Ravager and the Doe. Exhaust the dialogues until Meidra asks you about a ring. She's referring to the Tear of Kaeula, which you acquired earlier by slaying Kaeula's Shadow. As it turns out, Kaeula was Meidra's sister who got corrupted with the Root.
Here you will get an option to either keep the Tear of Kaeula ring with you or give it to Meidra. Give the ring to her to get the Sorrow Handgun.
Should You Give Meidra the Tear of Kaeula?
The Sorrow is a one-of-a-kind Crossbow Handgun that deals an insane amount of bonus weak spot damage. It comes with the Eulogy mod, which allows it to recall bolts that deal 32.1 damage when pulled from a target and while striking targets on their return. Additionally, recalled bolts grant 2% of Max Health. Recalled Bolts can also overfill Sorrow by up to +5. Any additional bolts will be returned to reserves.
That's everything you need to know about the Sorrow Handgun in Remnant 2.
