Rainbow Friends is a popular horror game on Roblox, with many players across various platforms including PC, Xbox, and PlayStation. Some users, though, have reported that they simply cannot open the game on Xbox. Not being able to open Rainbow Friends on your Xbox can be really frustrating, and may even mean that you can't play the game for the time being. Thankfully, there are a few things you can try. Here's what to do if Rainbow Friends isn't working on Xbox.

Unfortunately, many users have reported that Rainbow Friends does not work on Xbox at all. Players may get 'Error 103' when trying to open the game, or the game may simply force-close itself upon trying to open up Rainbow Friends. While the game opens and works on PC and consoles other than Xbox, players seem to be unable to play the game on this console. Thankfully, though, not all hope is lost if you want to try out this Roblox game on your Xbox.

There are a few possible fixes for Rainbow Friends not working on Xbox. Some users advise power cycling your console, but players haven't seemed to get much success with this method. Most continue to say that they are still unable to open the game even after restarting their devices or power cycling them, but it's worth a try.

Another possible fix is to change your age settings in parental settings to 13+, which should allow you to join Rainbow Friends if your age settings were set below that previously. However, many users haven't had success with this method, either, suggesting that Rainbow Friends might not be compatible with some Xbox devices. It's unknown whether this is specific to a certain Xbox model or not.

While playing with an Xbox might pose some problems, if you want to play with a controller and you have a PC, you're in luck; players report that the Xbox controller does work with the game if it's connected to a PC. It's the Xbox console itself that seems to be incompatible with Rainbow Friends.

Unfortunately, if you've been unable to get Rainbow Friends working on Xbox at this stage, it does seem like it's a bit of a non-starter. In which case it might be time to start playing on PC.
