The list is unsurprisingly topped by MKLeo, 19, who had an incredible 2019 after winning EVO 2019, Super Smash Con, and Ultimate Fighting Arena.

Samsora is perhaps shortly behind after beating MkLeo at Shine 2019, gaining notoriety as the best Peach player in the world.

The majority from this ranking are set to clash once again at Genesis 7, which features tournaments across Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, Melee and 64.

Competitive Smash will also be taking place at EVO Japan 2020, although the prize for winning isn’t exactly attractive to the top players.

Fire Emblem: Three Houses character Byleth is set to be the next DLC character in Smash Ultimate, with rumours already abound of who could be following in the second Fighter’s Pass.
