Rayman, Doomguy, and Ryu Hayabusa coming to Smash Bros. Ultimate according to leak

Back in May of this year, a post made on 4Chan claimed that they know who will be the next six characters coming to Smash Bros. Ultimate.

The post didn't get too much attention back then, but after The Game Awards ceremony, when it was revealed that Sephiroth is coming to Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, this leak is starting to look completely legitimate.

The reason is simple - the leaker has already predicted correctly three characters from that list, that last three that were released as DLC since the leak was posted in May.

As you can see from the picture above, the leaker guessed right that Steve from Minecraft, Min Min from ARMS, and Sephiroth are heading to Smash Bros. Ultimate.

When it comes to Min Min, it was already known that Smash Bros. Ultimate will get a character from ARMS, and there were rumours about Steve from Minecraft as well, so the leaker could have simply made an educated guess.

But what really stood out is that he was right about Sephiroth, that's something nobody expected, and fans thought that the next Square Enix character will be from another franchise because Final Fantasy was already present in the game.

Exactly that is what makes this leak believable, and according to them, next three characters that will be released as a part of Fighters Pass Vol. 2 are Doomguy from the Doom franchise, Rayman, and Ryu Hayabusa from Ninja Gaiden.

Being that the leaker was already correct about the previous three characters, fans are now eager to find out if Doomguy, Rayman, and Ryu Hayabusa will indeed come to Smash Bros. Ultimate.

Nintendo and Ubisoft have had a close relationship for years, so adding Rayman to Smash Bros, who is Ubisoft's mascot, seems like something that will probably happen.

Doomguy has been rumoured for a while as a next Smash Bros. Ultimate character as well, and Ryu Hayabusa has been spoken about for a long time as a potential Smash character.

Whether these rumours are true or the person behind the post just got incredibly lucky, we will find out in a few months, when Nintendo announces 4th character from Fighters Pass Vol. 2
