Valorant Pulse Invitational: Schedule, format, prize pool, teams and how to watch

Valorant's esports scene is slowly growing, with established esports organisations announcing their Valorant rosters. The tournament scene is becoming more serious, with bigger production houses slowly joining in.

This July we will have a couple of big Valorant tournaments, and amongst them, one of the biggest is Valorant Pulse Invitational. 

What is Valorant Pulse Invitational?

Valorant Pulse Invitational is a charity Valorant tournament, organized by Northern Arena, Pulse Esports Gaming Arena, and THESPIKE.GG.

• Northern Arena is an established Canadian esports production house, behind some of the biggest esports events in Canada.
• Pulse Esports Gaming Arena is an esports venue in New York, designed completely to support esports events and professional broadcasting.
• TheSpike.gg is a Valorant-dedicated website, with all the latest news, statistics, Team Rankings and more about Valorant.

Valorant Pulse Invitational cooperates with United Way of New York to support current issues and struggles in the world caused by COVID-19 outbreak, and social issues like racism and inequality.

Valorant Pulse Invitational Schedule

The event will be held on 10th-12th July 2020

On 10th July the Valorant Pulse Invitational will kick off with Group Stage matches. The matches kick off at 18:00 EST, which is 11th July at 01:00 UK time.

The playoffs will be played entirely on 12th July, with starting time yet to be announced.

Format

Valorant Pulse Invitational will have two stages, a group stage and then playoffs.

Group Stage: 

• Four groups with four teams in each group
• Round Robin format with best-of-one matches
• The top two teams from each group advance to the playoffs.

• Eight-team double-elimination bracket
• All matches are best-of-three

Prize Pool

The Valorant Pulse Invitational will have a $10,000 prize pool.

• 1st Place - $5,000
• 2nd Place - $3,000
• 3rd Place - $2,000

Valorant Pulse Invitational is an invitational tournament, with 16 of the top Valorant teams invited for "an epic online tournament."
