There is a brand new mode called Point Defense, a Tower Defense-like mode where you will need to defend strategic points from the xenomorph onslaught.
Then there are four new guns, 13 new attachments, a handful of new unlockable and purchasable skins, and of course, the new Lifetime Stats feature.
And for all of you Xbox Game Pass subscribers, the game is now available on Game Pass which means that you can play it without spending an extra penny.
And if you are unsure if you will be able to play it with your friends on PC or PlayStation, here's what we know about crossplay support in Aliens: Fireteam Elite.
Is Aliens: Fireteam Elite cross-platform?
While the game's arrival on Xbox Game Pass seems like the perfect opportunity to introduce full cross-play support, unfortunately, Aliens: Fireteam Elite does not feature cross-platform support.
This means that if you play the game on Xbox consoles, you won't be able to team up with your friends on PlayStation consoles, and vice versa.
It's not all bad news though, as there is partial cross-platform support. Those of you who play on PC will be able to play with console players, which means that you can have a group of players that play on PC + Xbox or PC + PlayStation, just not a mix of Xbox and PlayStation players.
Cross-generational support is also present, which means that Xbox Series X/S players can team up with Xbox One players, and PS5 owners can play with their PS4 friends.
At the time of writing, Cold Iron Studios, the developers behind Aliens: Fireteam Elite, has neither confirmed nor denied the possibility of adding cross-platform support in the future, so there's hope that you will eventually be able to blast aliens together with your friends from rival platforms.
