Asobo Team Listings Seem To Confirm Plague Tale 3

Asobo Team is hiring for multiple new roles, several of which seem to indicate that a new game in the Plague Tale series could be on the horizon. 

A LinkedIn post has the following jobs listed specifically for the Plague Team of Asobo Studios, the studio that works on, you guessed it, the Plague Tale games:

• VFX Artist (Plague Team)
• Game Designer Senior (Plague Team)
• Senior AI Programmer (Plague Team)
• Senior Gameplay Animator (Plague Team)

The last game in the Plague Tale series was A Plague Tale: Requiem which was released in October of last year. That game ended with a post-credit scene which seemed to indicate that a potential sequel to the game could be set in a modern era, as opposed to the first two games which are both set in 14th century France during the Hundred Years War. 

The gap between A Plague Tale: Innocence and A Plague Tale: Requiem was two years, with the sequel first announced a year after the first game was released. This means that we could see an announcement for a third title in the series within the next year, and with Xbox seemingly attempting to become more aggressive in the console market, it could be sooner rather than later.
