Sony's "Live From PS5" Advert Possibly Teased Uncharted 5

A brand-new advertisement for Sony's PlayStation 5 console has caught the attention of gamers globally. Premiering moments ago on 30 January 2023, the new "Live from PS5: Bringing You The Extraordinary" commercial showcased several game titles, including what seems to be a new Uncharted game. This latest marketing stint comes just a day after an advert for Marvel's Spider-Man 2 appeared on an ESPN broadcast in Australia.

Accordingly, the 1-minute "Live From PS5" advert that premiered today also featured the aforementioned ad, as well as scenes from other video game titles, including Horizon Forbidden West, God of War, Ratchet and Clank, and Gran Turismo. However, a title caught the eye of many fans around the 43-second timestamp --  Uncharted 5 (thanks, VGC) -- or so we think.

The brief clip shows what some fans claim to be a new female protagonist walking toward some kind of ancient relic in a cave with a flaming torch. The character is dressed in typical Indiana Jones-style attire, complete with a large backpack. Unfortunately, there don't appear to be any other hidden clues in the clip. As noted by VGC, it's possible that this character might be Nathan Drake and Elena Fisher’s teenage daughter Cassie.

In the absence of an official announcement from the developers Naughty Dog concerning a possible new Uncharted game, the aforementioned information is merely speculation.
