The next big PUBG Mobile update is coming a bit later than expected, after initial rumours suggested it would release on 24th April.
Now, PUBG Corporation has announced the official release date for Version 0.18.0 as 7th May 2020. Here's what we know so far about the massive PUBG Mobile May 2020 update.
PUBG Mobile May update - What's inside?
First off, PUBG Corporation shared a short, 18-second video, showing a vending machine in an old warehouse. As the camera moves closer, a tune starts playing, followed by the PUBG Mobile logo and the 7th May date appearing.
While we don't know exactly what the PUBG Mobile vending machine will do, it is expected this device could provide players with essential supplies, such as medkits, bandages, painkillers or energy drinks.
Apart from the PUBG Mobile vending machine, the update is expected to be huge, with likely addition of the Miramar 2.0 map, with all its changes and additions, because who doesn't love a golden version of Mirado?
Leaks suggest the PUBG Mobile May 2020 update could include a new weapon, namely the Winchester 94.
Some other rumoured features in the PUBG Mobile May 2020 update include limited-time modes. One is expected to be set on in Sanhok map, and is called Jungle Adventure Guide, while the other is called “Safety Scramble mode”.
The Safety Scramble Mode could is likely to introduce Blue-Purple zones inside of the safe zone.
