Steam Summer Sale: Start Date, End Date & Times

The Steam Summer Sale is about to begin! It's the annual event in which you can save a whole lot of money on games, buy things that you've wanted to play for a long time now but couldn't originally afford, and regret your purchases for the next week.

But when exactly does the sale start? What time? How many major sales does Steam have every year? We take a look and find out.

When Does The Steam Summer Sale Start And End?

The Steam Summer Sale starts later today (29th June) and ends on July 13th. That's two weeks of deals, that's two weeks that you've got in order to maximize your potential sales and get yourself some amazing games.

It'll start at 6 PM BST tonight, so you've got hours to prepare your wallet to lose half of its contents thanks to your desire for cool games.

What Are The Four Major Steam Sales?

Steam usually has four major sales every year, with smaller sales happening on occasions that are notable but not classed as one of Valve's major sales. Those four sales are timed to coincide with the four different seasons of the year, so you've got the Steam Spring Sales, Steam Summer Sales, Steam Autumn Sales, and the Steam Winter Sales. There's also usually a pretty major sale around the same time as Black Friday, but Valve doesn't class that as one of their major sales.

What Games Can We Expect To See In The Sale?

We know that we can expect to see the following titles:

  • Anno 1800
  • Smalland: Survive The Wilds
  • The Mageseeker: A League of Legends Story
  • Pharaoh: A New Era
  • Rust
  • Vertigo 2
  • Dead Cells
  • Terra Nil
  • Sid Meier's Civilization VI
