7 Days to Die Roadmap (2024-2025): What Updates Are Coming?

7 Days to Die has released a new roadmap outlining some of the game's future updates as the game leaves Early Access. These updates include new enemy types, overhauls to existing systems, new quest types, and many more. There's definitely a lot of great content in store for 7 Days to Die according to the new roadmap by The Fun Pimps.

Here's everything included in 7 Days to Die's new roadmap, which spans 2024-2025:

June & July 2024: 1.0 to Console Launch

• Character system
• Armor/clothing overhaul
• Console launch
• Completely Remode vehicle assets
• New animals
• New gore system for zombies
• Zombie variance
• New Challenge system
• New props
• Road decals
• New pals
• Updated VFX/graphics upgrades
• Optimization and random gen improvements
• Updated controller support

Q4 2024: Storm's Brewing

• Weather system & biome progression overhaul
• Wardrobe system
• Crossplay/random gen for consoles
• Plus: Additional zombie stages,

Q2 2025: A New Threat

• Bandits
• UI/Main menu overhaul
• Event system
• New quest type

Q4 2025: The Road Ahead

• Trader overhaul
• Story mode
• Steam workshop support
• New quest type

According to the roadmap itself, these dates are subject to change. However, they paint a picture of what's next for 7 Days to Die, all through 2024 and 2025.
