In Dave The Diver, you play as a diver named Dave, tasked with constantly diving into The Blue Hole and then making sushi for the customers who arrive. Most of the time, players can make whatever kind of sushi they want but sometimes, there's going to be a customer that needs a specific dish.

These are special VIP customers. These customers will have a specific request and it is up to the players to fulfill those requests. Players are going to need to get certain ingredients to fulfill those requests as well. Here, we are going to go over what players need to do to unlock the Wandering Merchant in Dave The Diver.

How To Unlock The Wandering Merchant In Dave The Diver

The first thing that players need to do is make sure they download Update 2 of Dave The Diver. Once that is done, the Wandering Merchant will shortly appear in the Sushi Restaurant provided players are not occupied with another VIP. Once he appears, players will need to complete the Spicy Pepper Seeds mission.

This will task players with making a special sushi for the Wandering Merchant. Players will need to collect 3 Bluefin Tuna Chutoros, 2 Habaneros, 2 Sea Grapes, and a Sesame Seed. Once that is done players will need to make some Hot Pepper Tuna and serve it to the Wandering Merchant, and now his shop is unlocked.

Once the quest is complete, the Wandering Merchant will start to appear in the sushi restaurant. The Wandering Merchant will sell a number of ingredients,  such as salt, olive oil, and carrots to name a few. But he will also sell Secret Recipes which are new dishes that players can serve.

But the key is that the Wandering Merchant is not always around. He is only around on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays in the afternoon. On top of that, he will always have something different so it's important to check on him when possible. This is especially true if players are interested in collecting as many menu items as possible in Dave The Diver.
