Fallout 76 has a lot of different features that are in the game. For example, there is a large and extensive crafting system in the game. The game allows players to build CAMPS, weapons, and so much more. One of the main points of Fallout 76 is for the player to survive a post-war world that was destroyed. Part of that survival is to create a new home through CAMPS.

With CAMPS, players were hoping that pets would be something that they would be able to have in the game. Although there is a lot of high-action with the various weapons that players can get, some players want to build out their CAMPS to be as comfortable as possible. So are CAMP pets coming to Fallout 76? We explore that question below.

What Are CAMP Pets In Fallout 76?

Back in 2021, Bethesda laid out a roadmap on what they will add to Fallout 76 throughout that year. This included the Locked and Loaded update, the Steel Reign update, and the Tales From The Stars Update. These updates have been implemented and a lot of content has been added since 2021.

One of the features that were supposed to come in the winter of 2021 for Fallout 76 was CAMP pets. CAMP pets are pets that players can keep in their CAMP bases in Fallout 76. The confirmed bets by Bethesda developers were dogs and cats. Dogs would have also gotten doghouses added and they would be equipped with light armor.

When Are CAMP Pets Coming To Fallout 76?

So since CAMP pets were expected to release in 2021, where are they? Unfortunately, Bethesda had to delay the implementation of CAMP pets for unknown reasons and the last time Bethesda spoke about them, they were delayed until 2022. It is now 2023. So, are CAMP pets still coming to Fallout 76?

More than likely, yes, CAMP pets should still be coming to Fallout 76. Although we have not heard a word of CAMP pets coming in 2023, Bethesda tends to be a bit slow when it comes to releasing bonus content for their games. Players should still expect CAMP pets to come to Fallout 76, the question becomes when will it happen.
