The Enkanomiya region has arrived in Genshin Impact in the 2.4 update as many Travelers are looking forward to setting course for the ominous location. Before you set a course for Enkanomiya, you may need to check whether you have met specific criteria to unlock Enkanomiya.
One of these criteria is completing the "The Moon-Bathed Deep" World Quest in Inazuma. Travelers will complete puzzles to unlock seals if you wish to venture to Enkanomiya. We detail the complete walkthrough of the "The Moon-Bathed Deep" World Quest, including how to solve the puzzles and what rewards you can earn through the quest.

How to complete "The Moon-Bathed Deep" World Quest in Genshin Impact?
The five more minor quests they will need to complete for "The Moon-Bathed Deep" World Quest are as follows:
- Eye of Watatsumi
- Fang of Watatsumi
- Fin of Watatsumi
- Tail of Watatsumi
- Heart of Watatsumi
To start this World Quest, travel to Watatsumi Island, southwest of Nakurumi Island. If you have travelled to this island before, there are five Teleport Waypoints and one Statue of the Seven, which serves as fast travel points.
This quest will task players to locate Tsuyuko, the Shrine maiden at Mouun Shrine. Travel to a Statue of the Seven waypoint at Mouun Shrine, and you can find her near a cliff overlooking the island. Once they have spoken to the shrine maiden, the World Quest will trigger you to complete the five more minor quests in any order.
As there are five locations, you will be travelling across Watatsumi Island, and we'll start clockwise with the first quest closest to the Traveler's current location, the Eye of Watatsumi.
Eye of Watatsumi
After speaking to Tsuyuko, use your glider to travel northwest to the shrine of the "Eye", highlighted with a red ring around the shrine. They will need to read the Ancient Stone tablet at the shrine; this tablet will give them clues on how to unlock it.
There are three "eyes" or seals scattered north, south and west of the island, which your Elemental Sight can help locate. These seals will be marked with a purple indicator directing you towards the seals.
As you will have noticed that the Electro Archon resides on Watatsumi Island, using either a Cryo or Pyro Elemental Skill or Attack on the seals will effectively break them. Travel to the southern seal first, use your Elemental Skill or Attack on the seal to unlock it before defeating Electro Slimes that will appear.
Travel back to the shrine and head to the western seal next, and repeat the process to break the next seal. Once you have broken the seal, defeat the Anemo Specters and travel back to the shrine.
From the shrine, travel to the northern seal, but you will need to defeat the Ruin Sentinels before breaking the seal. Once the Ruin Sentinels are defeated and the seal broke, head back to the shrine to unlock it and collect the Spirit Pearl before moving to the following location.
Once the quest is complete, they will earn the following rewards:
- Adventure EXP ×250
- Primogems ×30
- Hero's Wit ×3
- Mora ×25,000
Fang of Watatsumi
From your current location, travel north to the shrine of the "Fang" highlighted with a red ring. Locate the Ancient Stone tablet at the shrine, which will help you unlock the shrine.
This shrine will need to protect the Ley Line Monolith by fighting off waves of enemies, which will vary with Hilichurls, Treasure Hoarders, Nobushi, and Kairagi. Travelers must protect the monolith throughout its duration, which they can use Thunder Dwellings to defeat the enemies.
Once the enemies are defeated, they will have unlocked the shrine and collected the Spirit Pearl at the shrine. Additionally, you can collect the allocated rewards, which looks as follows:
- Adventure EXP ×250
- Primogems ×30
- Hero's Wit ×3
- Mora ×25,000
Fin of Watatsumi
Head to the shrine of the "Fin" found close to Suigestu Pool. Find the Ancient Stone tablet and read it to learn how to unlock the shrine.
This shrine will task you to solve a puzzle to break the seals. To break the seals, rotate the fish statues facing the disc in the middle and lock them in position using the Mysterious Pillar nearby.
Travel back to the shrine, which should be unlocked by then and collect the Spirit Pearl here. The fin puzzle will reappear in the next quest, so it's important to remember how to solve this puzzle for the "Heart of Watatsumi" quest. You can also collect additional rewards upon completing "Fin of Watatsumi", which are the following:
- Adventure EXP ×250
- Primogems ×30
- Hero's Wit ×3
- Mora ×15,000
Tail of Watatsumi
For the "Tail of Watatsumi' quest, travel to the shrine of the "Tail" and read the Ancient Stone tablet to help you solve this shrine's puzzle. This puzzle consists of solving the Electric Lamp puzzle correctly by lighting them up.
Using Electrogranum, found at Thunder Sakura Bough, takes the path from the location of the lamps. With the Electrogranum, light up the lamps in the order leading up to the shrine.
Once the puzzle is solved, Fatui enemies will appear in the area that needs to be defeated. Travel back to the shrine to collect the Spirit Pearl plus other rewards upon completing this quest.
- Adventure EXP ×250
- Primogems ×30
- Hero's Wit ×3
- Mora ×30,000
Heart of Watatsumi
"Heart of Watatsumi" is the final quest needed to complete the "The Moon-Bathed Deep" World Quest in Genshin Impact. The four Spirit Pearls are obtained by solving each shrine's puzzles, breaking the seals and defeating enemies, heading to Sangonomiya Shrine, and speaking to Tsuyuko.
You can travel to the shrine using the Teleport Waypoint closest to the shrine and gliding downside the waterfalls to find a locked door or the Seal of the "Heart". With the Spirit Pearls, unlock the door and make your way to the "Heart", where you'll find four puzzles, similar to the one from the "Fin of Watatsumi" quest.
Solve the three puzzles by having the fish statues facing inwards towards the disc in the middle before defeating the Hydro Mimics on each puzzle. Once the statues are in position, lock them in using the Mysterious Pillar before moving to the fourth puzzle.
At the fourth puzzle, interact with the Mysterious Pillar to open the puzzle and rotate the statues again. You have to fight off waves of Hydro Mimics before triggering a cutscene from which they can collect the Key of the Deep.
Once obtained, speak to Tsuyuko for the final time to finish "Heart of Watatsumi" and thus complete the "The Moon-Bathed Deep" World Quest. They can use this key to unlock the entrance to Enkanomiya for "The Still Water's Flow" World Quest.
Furthermore, the rewards they can earn after completing "Heart of Watatsumi" are the following:
- Adventure EXP ×350
- Primogems ×40
- Hero's Wit ×3
- Mora ×30000
- Mystic Enhancement Ore ×6
