League of Legends K’Sante, The Pride of Nazumah: Abilities

This is League of Legends' newest Champion, K'Sante, The Pride of Nazumah.

This Nazumah warrior has a variety of abilities, mostly used for close-range combat. K’Sante excels at protecting his teammates from certain dangers and taking the fight away from allies, singling out enemies by forcing them through walls.

The Champion is also equipped with some explosive, short-casted crowd control abilities that make K’Sante a force to be reckoned with.

Passive - Dauntless Instinct

K’Sante’s damaging abilities mark enemies hit for a short duration. Attacking a marked enemy consumes the mark to deal damage plus max health physical damage.

When K’Sante’s affected by All Out (the Champion's R ability), attacking a marked enemy in League of Legends instead deals physical damage and additional max health true damage.

Q - Ntofo Strikes

K’Sante slams his weapon, dealing physical damage in a small area around him and briefly slowing targets hit. If an enemy is hit, K’Sante gains a stack for a short duration.

At two stacks, K’Sante instead fires a shockwave that pulls enemies. When K’Sante’s affected by All Out, this ability’s cooldown is reduced and no longer slows targets hit.

W - Path Maker

K’Sante begins charging his Path Maker ability and raises his weapons defensively for a short duration, becoming unstoppable and reducing incoming damage.

Once K’Sante releases Path Maker, he rams forward, dealing a percentage of max health physical damage, knocking back, and stunning enemies he passes through for a short duration based on charge time.

When K’Sante is affected by All Out, this ability’s cooldown is refreshed, the damage reduction is increased, it deals an additional amount of physical damage based on charge time, and the charge and dash speed are doubled.

E - Footwork

K’Sante dashes, gaining a shield for a short duration. If dashing to an ally, the distance is significantly increased, and they are also shielded. Other spells can be cast during this ability.

When K’Sante is affected by All Out, this ability’s dash speed is increased. Dashing to a targeted location has increased range and can go over walls.

R - All Out

K’Sante shatters his tonfas, dealing physical damage and knocking back an enemy champion. Enemies that hit a wall will take a greater amount of physical damage and are knocked back over the wall and briefly stunned.

K’Sante then dashes after the enemy and goes All Out for an extended duration. All Out is a temporary stance that affects K’Sante’s abilities, passive, and stats.

When affected by All Out, K’Sante loses a percentage of max health, bonus armor, and bonus magic resistance. In addition, K’Sante gains attack damage, omnivamp, and transforms his abilities.

League of Legends K’Sante, The Pride of Nazumah: Lore

K'Sante is one of League of Legends openly LGBTQ Champions.

K'Sante, The Pride of Nazumah, comes from a coveted oasis called Nazumah amid the sands of Shurima. K'Sante is just a man. He doesn't have magic or a powerful rune that casts chaotic spells. No, K'Sante is a warrior and guardian that's trained relentlessly since he was a kid to be the strongest monster hunter in Nazumah.

K’Sante lives with a massive amount of self-inflicted pressure. From his dreams of being the greatest monster hunter in Nazumah to his desires to prove himself to his people and himself.

He’s a fiercely proud Nazuman. He proudly stands up against the Ascended, and he’s proud of how much work he has put in to get to where he is now. But pride is blinding, and it is sure to hurt those we love most.

This is Tope, K'Sante's former partner.

In K'Sante's journey toward being the best monster hunter, he meets Tope. Tope and K’Sante were a natural pair. Together they could accomplish anything. Together they hunted. Tope understands their enemy, while K’Sante lands the killing blow. And so the two men, who worked together so well, fell in love until they faced an insurmountable obstacle: pride and youth.

Eventually, arguments unfolded between the pair. K'Sante needed to kill the lion-cobra baccai monster to live up to his expectations, as well as his people's. But Tope and K'Sante reached a point where they failed to eliminate the lion-cobra baccai, and from there, disagreements started happening, and the two split apart.

In the end, K'Sante eventually succeeded in killing the lion-cobra baccai and secured his signature set of weapons called the ntofos. Although he and Tope separated, they remained friendly toward each other, and both proceeded to protect Nazumah.
