Due to the global COVID-19 pandemic, and everything going on in the world right now, Twitch has decided to announce a virtual TwitchCon this year. It is called GlitchCon, and there's an exciting Twitch Rivals: GlitchCon esports event for fans to enjoy. Here's what you need to know about Twitch Rivals: GlitchCon, including how to watch, the schedule, prize money, format and more.
Prize pool
The prize pool for Twitch Rivals: GlitchCon weighs in at just over half a million USD. To be exact, the prize pool is a whopping 503,385.76 USD.

- 1st place - $175,160.16 per team | $10,947.51 per player
- 2nd place - $144,320.64 per team | $9,020.04 per player
- 3rd place - $95,016.96 per team | $5,938.56 per player
- 4th place - $88,888.00 per team | $5,555.50 per player
Since there will be a total of four Super Teams competing, everyone who participates in the Twitch Rivals: GlitchCon main event will get a piece of the prize pool
Format
The Twitch Rivals: GlitchCon tournament isn't your average esports event in terms of the format. Judging by the qualifiers for both Fortnite and Valorant, the teams will participate in unique game modes, such as a Shooting Range in Valorant, or the Marvel LTM in Fortnite.
At the time of writing, the exact twists on the standard esports formula for the Twitch Rivals: GlitchCon main event have not been revealed.

Super Teams
There will be a total of four Super Teams competing in the main event for Twitch Rivals: GlitchCon. These teams will be filled with the top 20 content creators on the streaming platform, as well as up-and-coming creators who qualify via the Fortnite and Valorant "Road to GlitchCon" tournaments.

At the time of writing, the players in each of the Super Teams have not been revealed.
Schedule
The Twitch Rivals: GlitchCon main event will run for a total of 10 hours. The tournament kicks off on 14th November at 18:30 UK time.
According to the Twitch Rivals: GlitchCon schedule, the event should end on 15th November at roughly 04:30 UK time, so mark those calendars and set those alarms.
