LOUD Vs. OpTic Continous As OpTic Qualifies For Valorant Champions Grand Final

After a tough battle for weeks, we finally have the final two teams that will be playing in the Valorant Champions 2022 grand final. LOUD already qualified by winning the upper semi-final against OpTic and they are gonna go head to head again in the final as OpTic has beaten DRX in an intense series of five maps by 3-2.

Here's the complete breakout of what happened during one of the craziest matches in Valorant Champions 2022.

The first map, Bind, was OpTic's pick but it was DRX who secured the first two rounds. However, once OpTic had a full buy, they gave no chance to DRX and went up winning the next seven rounds to create a massive lead of five points.

The kings of comebacks, DRX, picked their momentum back and didn't let OpTic win at least once for the rest of the first half and closed the gap to two points.

The story of the second half was the same except DRX was not able to make a comeback this time and OpTic ended up winning the map by 13-8.

The second map Breeze started with OpTic completely destroying DRX and securing the first four rounds of the game before DRX started closing the gap and were pretty much successful in this as they put 3-4 on the board but it was not long before OpTic with the dominance of yay and crashies snatched the next four rounds consecutively even after DRX's timeout.

While DRX was able to close the first half with a win, it was not enough to stop optic, especially yay from thrashing them and they were able to win just one round in the second half. OpTic secured the second map as well but this time with a massive lead of eight points.

OpTic 2-0 in the series but DRX was not ready to go back yet as they stretched the series to the fourth map by winning Fracture by 13-8. In the beginning, no team clearly dominated each other until the seventh round when DRX started picking up the momentum and secured a lead of two points by the end of the first half.

OpTic started out the second half by winning two rounds but after that DRX just destroyed them as they could win only a single round after that.

The next map, Ascent, was totally one-sided as OpTic was able to win only three rounds and DRX took the series to the final map with BuZz taking 26 kills.

The final map of the Valorant Champions 2022 lower bracket final was going back and forth. At first, OpTic secured the first three rounds but then DRX made a comeback and won the next four rounds to take the lead.

However, OpTic bounced back again and snatched the next five rounds to put 8-4 on the board during halftime. The second half was almost the same except it was much more intense. In the 18th round, OpTic put 11-7 on the board and was so close to the win but DRX wasn't ready to give up so easily. They won the next three rounds to take the score to 10-11 but they couldn't capitalize on it this time as OpTic won the next three rounds and the map by 13-10.
