All Alan Wake 2 Deer Head Locations

Deer Heads are one of the many collectibles in Alan Wake 2 that are not required for any trophies or achievements, but they will give you some bonus supplies for Saga. The game features 12 Deer Heads in total, and Saga will also update you on how many Deer Heads are left to find.

With that said, this article lists all the spots where you can find Deer Heads in Alan Wake 2 and earn additional supplies.

Alan Wake 2 - Taxidermy Deer Head Locations

Deer Head #1 (Chapter: Return 3 - Local Girl)

• Location: Suomi Hall - Go to the bar opposite Watery and find the deer head in the Break Room.

Deer Head #2 (Chapter: Return 3 - Local Girl)

• Location: Kalevala Knights Workshop - Enter the workshop and look for the Alan Wake 2 deer head on a wall.

Deer Head #3 (Chapter: Return 3 - Local Girl)

• Location: Ranger Cabin - After the Overlap, go to the Ranger Station above Coffee World.

Deer Head #4 (Chapter: After Return 5 - Old Gods)

• Location: Rental Cabins - After getting the Bolt Cutters, go to Cabin #3 to solve a Nursery Rhyme. A Taken will break out of Cabin #6, where you can find a deer head and some rewards.

Deer Head #5 (Chapter: Return 1 - Invitation)

• Location: Elderwood Palace Lodge - In the backroom of Saga and Casey’s investigation, look above the fireplace.

Deer Head #6 (Chapter: Return 1 - Invitation)

• Location: Murder Site - In a small shed south of the Murder Site, there is a Cult Stash puzzle and a deer head in the bedroom.

Deer Head #7 (Chapter: Return 1 - Invitation)

• Location: Oh Deer Diner - Visit the diner in any chapter and check the storage room at the back.

Deer Head #8 (Chapter: Return 2 - The Heart)

• Location: Witchfinder’s Station - The only deer head in Cauldron Lake is in the northwest corner of the map, where a Nursery Rhyme puzzle is hidden.

Deer Head #9 (Chapter: Return 5 - Old Gods)

• Location: Ranger Station - After clearing the Overlap, use the Bolt Cutters to travel south of Bright Falls. Find this deer head in the Ranger Station near Billie’s Boat Yard.

Deer Head #10 (Chapter: Return 3 - Local Girl)

• Location: Lighthouse Trailer Park - Get the Screwdriver from Coffee World and unlock the Gift Shop. The deer head is in Saga’s trailer.

Deer Head #11 (Chapter: Return 5 - Old Gods)

• Location: Valhalla Nursing Home - Find this deer head in the second-floor lounge with a save point.

Deer Head #12 (Chapter: Return 5 - Old Gods)

• Location: Wellness Center - In the security room, input 17-08-23 in the terminal and open the sliding doors. Get the doorknob from the receptionist’s desk and use it to open the storage room with the Hunting Rifle and this deer head.

Once you find all the Deer Heads, make your way to the Elderwood Palace Lodge in Bright Falls once again. Go to the last room, where you'll find a bunch of valuable supplies and loot items such as ammunition, healing kits, and more.
