EA and Respawn have announced a new legend named August "Ballistic" Brinkman via Stories from the Outlands - "Encore", and he will be making his debut soon in Apex Legends. He was accidentally leaked by the publisher in the Veiled collection event blog a few days ago before the official announcement. Ballistic is an older character (63 years old) than the rest of the legends in the game and is a former Thunderdome champion who got retired after tragedy struck.

If you are excited about Ballistic, here is when it will release in Apex Legends, along with the details about his abilities.

As per the official announcement by Respawn, Ballistic will be coming to the game on May 9, which is also the release date of Apex Legends Season 17. You will be able to unlock him by collecting his Legend Tokens by leveling up in the game, and you can find his abilities below.

Ballistic will belong to the Assault class, as mentioned on the official website by EA, and you can find all of his abilities below.

  • Sling (Passive): Store a third weapon in the sling. Access via inventory or Character Utility Action Button. The sling weapon cannot take attachments.
  • Whistler (Tactical): Store a third weapon in the sling. Access via inventory or Character Utility Action Button. The sling weapon cannot take attachments.
  • Tempest (Ultimate): Store a third weapon in the sling. Access via inventory or Character Utility Action Button. The sling weapon cannot take attachments.
