ImperialHal Ends Long-Time Run With TSM

Arguably one of Apex Legends' most successful players, Phillip "ImperialHal" Dosen has largely been synonymous with TSM, having signed with the esports organization back in 2019 after moving to Apex from H1Z1.

ImperialHal has seen some huge wins with TSM, including the 2023 ALGS Championship, where he also won the Monster Energy MVP. Now, after five years with the org, the player has announced that he will be leaving to join up with Apex Legends rivals DarkZero. TSM announced ImperialHal's departure in a video posted to the org's social channels.

On X, ImperialHal said, "I will be teaming with @Zer0OCE and @Genburten now moving forward . I’ve already said a lot in the video I retweeted but I want to thank @TSM and everyone that has played along side me for believing in me, I will remember these last 5 years forever."

Fans and pros shared their thoughts and well wishes on socials, including TSM's Jordan "Reps" Wolfe who said, "Spent the majority of my Apex career with Hal and I wouldn't change it for anything. Forever thankful to have as much success as we had together."

TSM lost to DarkZero back in the ALGS: 2023 Split 2 Playoffs in London, coming in second, and reigniting the friendly rivalry between ImperialHal and DarkZero's Rhys "Zer0" Perry. TSM, however, claimed the crown back during the 2023 Championships in Birmingham, walking away with first place and a $600,000 in prize money.
