All Artifact Locations in ARK Survival Ascended Scorched Earth

As with any of the other maps featured in ARK Survival Ascended, the latest DLC for the game, Scorched Earth, features three new Artifacts that you can collect across the map. These items are extremely rare and fulfill a very special role in helping you complete the overarching campaign and ascend from the ARK.

So if you're ready to take on the trials that await you and need to find the Artifacts to do so, then you're in the right place. Below, we'll break down exactly how to find all three Artifacts and their locations in ARK Survival Ascended Scorched Earth.

Where to find All Artifacts in ARK Survival Ascended Scorched Earth

As previously mentioned, there are three Artifacts that you can find on the Scorched Earth map of ARK Survival Ascended, and collecting them all is needed to take on the final boss of this ARK, the Manticore. Each one can be located in the wild but is usually guarded by powerful and dangerous wild dinos and creatures, so be prepared for a fight if you're venturing out to find them.

Below is a breakdown of each Artifact, including its location, as well as some general tips on what to expect when looking for them across the Scorched Earth Map.

Artifact of the Destroyer

Coordinates - Latitude: 78.5, Longitude: 75.6

The Artifact of the Destroyer is located on the southeasterly edge of the map in the desert area, inside a cave. This cave is littered with various enemies, as well as containing steep drops you can fall off, extreme heat temperatures, and diseases (Mega Rabies) from enemies such as the Onyc and Megalania. For this cave, we recommend a powerful ranged weapon like a shotgun, as well as any healing items and antidotes to regenerate health and avoid the effects of the Mega Rabies.

Artifact of the Crag

Coordinates - Latitude: 28.5, Longitude: 29.3

The Artifact of the Crag is located in the northwestern region of the map and again is inside a cave sprawling with powerful enemies to overcome as you make your way through it. This cave poses quite a few dangers such as the risk of drowning if you're knocked out by a dino, extreme heat pockets, Mega Rabies, the Megalosaurus which can spawn at night, and finally the chances of getting lost are high due to the size of the cave. To traverse it safely, we suggest bringing a ranged weapon, a grappling hook for traversal, healing items, antidotes, as well as a tame that can help you move through each chamber quickly.

Artifact of the Gatekeeper

Coordinates - Latitude: 58.6, Longitude: 47.7

The Artifact of the Gatekeeper can be located in the southern center of the map and contains similar creatures and dangers as the Artifact of the Destroyer cave (Extreme heat, swarming creatures, Mega rabies, and the presence of a Rubble Golem). For this cave, we suggest the same loadout as usual, that being a strong ranged weapon and antidotes and healing items, but since this cave is larger, you can also use a grappling hook to maneuver around the cave more easily.
