Initially hidden from players, this information can be easily revealed through damage indicators or numbers that appear when dealing damage to creatures. 

Whether you're curious about the effectiveness of your shotgun compared to your assault rifle, or any other weapon for that matter, continue reading to learn how to turn on or off damage number indicators in ARK Survival Ascended.

How Enable and Disable Damage Numbers In ARK Survival Ascended

Enabling or disabling damage number indicators in ARK Survival Ascended is a straightforward process that can be done through the main menu before launching your server or local game. Start a new game from the main menu, select "Create or Resume Game," and then click on the Advanced tab. Within the Advanced tab, locate the "Misc" tab and click on it.

In the Misc menu, you'll find an option on the right side called "Show Floating Damage Text." Toggle this option on or off based on your preference for seeing damage indicator numbers. 

Enabling it will activate floating damage number indicators for the current game and any server you play on, whether official or unofficial. If you've already created a game, you can also adjust the settings using the method outlined above, as this setting applies to all your games.
