Armored Core 6 Shade Eye: How To Get & Use

Shade Eye, aka HC-2000/BC Shade Eye, is a Head part in Armored Core VI that players can use on their mech to get a wider scan distance, increased AP, Attitude Stability, and other attribute bonuses to further bolster the overall capability of their mech. 

For players who don't know, the HC-2000/BC Shade Eye is a custom part in the game that, as per the lore and in-game description, is derived from the scout AC head developed by RaD and was comprehensively rebuilt by an anonymous independent mercenary group.

How To Get Shade Eye In Armored Core VI 

In Armored Core VI, there are two ways to get the HC-2000/BC Shade Eye Head for your mech. The first option is to complete "Mission 27: Destroy the Ice Worm" and then complete Gamma Analysis encounters, the first nine to be specific, using different mechs in the Arena mode accessed via the Garage in New Game Plus mode. Doing so unlocks the Shade Eye Head. 

Alternatively, players can also scan the code on the wall at the end of "Mission 23: Infiltrate the Base" to unlock a sub-quest, "Mission 23B: Find Shade Eye," that, upon completion, unlocks the Shade Eye Head in Armored Core VI.

How To Use Shade Eye In Armored Core VI

To use the Shade Eye Head in Armored Core VI, you must first unlock it. Once that is done, head to the Garage and select the AC Design option. 

After that, select the 'Assembly' option and then the Headpiece. Now, navigate the list and select the HC-2000/BC Shade Eye Head. 

Once you do that, your mech will be equipped with the Shade Eye head, and you can test it out in Arena or missions via the Sortie options.
