During the first season of Warzone, most of the Cold War weapons were largely ignored in the competitive meta due to ridiculously powerful DMR 14 which was dominating both casual and competitive gameplay and was nerfed several times.
Nonetheless, things are starting to shake up with Warzone Season 2 and we think that players who prefer tactical sniper rifles will have a lot of fun playing with the m82 sniper rifle, especially if you equip it with good attachments.
The loadout you will see below is great at both long-range and mid-range encounters, it is quite accurate and many players agree that's a very fun weapon to play with.
Without further ado, let's take a look at the best class setup for the M82 sniper rifle in Warzone Season 2.
Best M82 loadout in Warzone Season 2
These are the best attachments for M82 in Warzone S2:
- Muzzle: Monolithic Suppressor
One of the most important sniper attachments with sound suppression and increased range, practically a must for any sniper build. The M82 is particularly loud, so this will help to keep its sound a bit lower.
- Barrel: 22.6" Combat Recon
The M82 doesn't exactly have great Bullet Velocity, so + 75% Bullet Velocity provided by Combat Recon is very important. Aim for the head and you will land headshots with great precision and no bullet drops.
- Underbarrel: Bipod
By far the best recoil reduction available, for that extra steadiness when taking down enemies from afar.
- Optic: Hangman RF 6x
The Royal & Kross 4X scope along with the 6x zoom Hangman RF have no scope glint in Warzone, so both of these are a great choice for this build, whatever you prefer. Hangman RF will even show you the distance in meters, not really important but nice detail.
- Ammunition: 7 Round Fast Mags
Finally, we choose the 7 Round mag for that sweet spot where you have extra two bullets per clip but without too many negative effects which you get with 9 round magazines. The M82 reload times can be ridiculously slow which can lead to awkward situations, so the fast Mag helps a lot in that regard.
And that would be it! We had a lot of fun playing with this weapon and we hope that you will have fun too!
