A new Warzone update is now live and it comes with another round of nerfs for some of the most problematic weapons in the game.

Developer Raven Software has just released patch notes for Warzone's 13th January update, and it seems that 6th January nerfs for DMR and Type 63 weren't enough, as these weapons are getting another set of changes.

Both DMR 14 and Type 63 will now have their bullet penetration reduced from sniper to AR, in addition to other changes.

This is the second round of nerfs for DMR 14 in less than a week (Picture: Activision) 

This update also comes with a nerf to Burst Pistol, with its max damage reduced from 45 to 40.

Finally, a bug with infinite tactical equipment (Stim) should now be fixed, and players would no longer be able to exploit this glitch.

𝐁𝐥𝐮𝐞𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐭s

𝐆𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐲 (𝐌𝐚𝐜-𝟏𝟎)
– All stats updated to match base Mac-10

𝐖𝐞𝐚𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬

𝐃𝐌𝐑 𝟏𝟒

• Bullet penetration reduced from sniper to AR

• Damage falloff ranges decreased
– 55 damage before / 48 damage after 750 units (down 70% from 2500 units)

• Recoil increased
– Increased moderately for second and third bullet
– Increased slightly for subsequent bullets

• Locational damage multipliers adjusted
– Headshot now does less than 100 damage after 750 units
– Lower torso reduced from 1.1 to 1.01 (~8%)

𝐓𝐲𝐩𝐞 𝟔𝟑

• Bullet penetration reduced from sniper to AR

• Damage falloff ranges decreased
– 60 damage before / 45 damage after 900 units (down 55% from 2000 units)

• Max damage reduced from 45 to 40 (~11%)

– Horizontal recoil reduction increased from 35% to 30%

• Akimbo
– All location damage multipliers set to 1
