DrDisrespect 20k Warzone Showdown: How to watch, teams, schedule, format and more

Famous Call of Duty content creator, Herschel "Guy" Beahm IV, better known to his Champions Club followers as DrDisrespect, is hosting a Call of Duty: Warzone tournament in collaboration with Game Fuel and Boom.tv. Here's everything you need to know about DrDisrespect's 20k Warzone Showdown tournament, also known as the Code Red Game Fuel Showdown, from how to watch all the action live, to the format, teams involved, schedule and more.

DrDisrespect Warzone Showdown prize pool

As the name might suggest, DrDisrespect's 20k Warzone Showdown features a prize pool of $20,000 USD.

Prize pool distribution:

• 1st place - $10,000
• 2nd place - $6,000
• 3rd place - $4,000

While there are a total of 16 teams competing, only the top three placements will get a piece of the prize pool.

As mentioned in the previous section, there are 16 teams in DrDisrespect's Warzone Showdown Code Red Game Fuel tournament. 

DrDisrespect himself will be pairing up with ZLaner, and there are several big names in the Call of Duty community participating, from content creators to top players.

The competition will no doubt be fierce, with the likes of Ayden, Swagg, HusKerrs and many more competing.

DrDisrespect Warzone Showdown format

DrDisrespect's Warzone Showdown tournament will follow a standard kill-race format, with every kill in this Duos event giving a team one point.

The tournament will use a Quad playlist, with the Upper Bracket matches being best-of-three, as the team with the most kills advances to the grand finals.

Lower bracket matches are best-of-one, with the team boasting the most kills advancing. The grand finals of the tournament will see the team with the highest number of kills after two games win. If a lower-bracket team wins, the series will be reset and another two games will be played.

DrDisrespect Warzone Showdown schedule

The DrDisrespect Warzone Showdown is a one-day event, taking place on 26th April 2021. While there's no telling how long the tournament will last, it is scheduled to start on 26th April 2021 at 19:00 GMT.

From the tournament page on Boom.tv, it appears the event will run for at least seven hours.

Most of the participants will likely stream the DrDisrespect 20k Warzone Showdown event, and you can also watch the action on the tournament's official Boom.tv page.

HusKerrs and FaZe Swagg are likely the best streams to watch. Don't forget to also check DrDisrespect's YouTube channel, as it is almost certain he will be streaming his perspective of the event.
