Activision has revealed everything coming to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Season 1, which includes new weapons, maps, modes, and more. Among these, one particular thing that players are hyped about is the Vortex, which is a limited-time mode that will make its way to the game with the mid-season update that is expected to be released in January 2024. Here is why Vortex is so special and how you can play and win it.

Vortex will be a free-for-all mode, and it is extra special for MW3 players as it will let players use the popular Zombies Wonder Weapon, the one-shot Ray Gun. In this mode, one of all players in the lobby will spawn with Ray Gun, and the goal will be to take down that player. The player who kills the person with the Ray Gun will be its new owner, and the last player with the Ray Gun will be the winner of the match.

You will be able to play Vortex on three remixed Multiplayer maps including Satan’s Quarry, Sporeyard, and Tetanus. Currently, these are the only details available regarding the Vortex map; however, we should get more information as it is closer to its release, and we will update this page accordingly.
