After a lot of hype and buildup, The Callisto Protocol is finally out and available for everyone to play. Although the reviews are a bit mixed, gamers have preordered the game with the Contraband Pack.
Gamers were very interested in getting the Callisto Protocol as soon as possible, so they preordered the game with the Contraband Pack. But what exactly is the Contraband Pack and how do you use it in the game? Here, we go over exactly what to do with it.
How To Use The Contraband Pack In The Callisto Protocol
The Contraband Pack is actually an item that you can have in your inventory in The Callisto Protocol. If you have made the preorder for The Callsto Protocol on either the PS4 or the PS5, you should have an item named The Contraband Pack in your inventory.
This is an item that you actually cannot use. So, what do you do with it? You go to something called a Reforge in the game, which allows you to sell items that you may have. What you then do is sell The Contraband Pack to the Reforge.
In return, you will receive 800 Callisto Credits. You can then use the Callisto Credits you got to buy higher-cost items which will make the earlier stages of The Callisto Protocol much easier. You use the credits to upgrade the weapons that you might have or will eventually get. This is given to players to help make the beginning stages of the game easier. If you do not want to make the game easier, you might want to hold off and not sell the Contraband Pack after all.
Can Anyone Get The Contraband Pack In The Callisto Protocol?
Unfortunately, not everyone will be able to get The Callisto Protocol Contraband Pack. It was a gift to those who preordered either a PlayStation 4 or PlayStation 5 copy of the game.
Players on PC or on Xbox consoles will not be granted the opportunity to get the Contraband Pack in the game. That means that players on either of these consoles will have to play through the game naturally and will not get early Credits to make the beginning easier.
