Top Clash Royale players have been fighting it out in the monthly qualifier for the Clash Royale League (CRL) for May 2021, while others have qualified for the global leaderboard. With points towards qualifying for the World Finals 2021 on the line, as well as a decent prize pool, there's a lot for the eight qualifying players to fight for, which should make for some exciting matches.

CRL May 2021 Final prize pool

Eight players will be fighting for their share of the $50,000 USD prize pool in the CRL May 2021 Final. There's also some important World Finals qualification points up for grabs.

The prize pool distribution is:

  • 1st place - 100 points and $20,000
  • 2nd place - 70 points and $10,000
  • 3rd place - 50 points and $6,000
  • 4th place - 50 points and $4,000
  • 5th & 6th place - 35 points and $3,000 each
  • 7th & 8th place - 35 points and $2,000 each

This means that every player in the CRL May 2021 Final will at least get some World Finals qualification points, and a piece of the prize pool.

CRL May 2021 Final format & players

The CRL May 2021 Final follows a double-elimination bracket format with eight players. All matches will be played in the best-of-three duel format.

The player who reaches the grand finals through the winner's bracket has to win one best-of-three, whereas a player who reaches the grand finals through the losers bracket has to win two best-of-three matches.

The players are:

  • Mohamed Light (Egypt)
  • Samuel Bassotto (Brazil)
  • TRB Sandbox (South Korea)
  • Viiper (France)
  • TQ Ruben (Spain)
  • Higher (China)
  • ぐりこ (Japan)
  • Yunus (Turkey)

Clearly, there's a talented lineup of players and we should see some great matches take place.

 

Clash Royale League May 2021 schedule

The Clash Royale League May 2021 Final is scheduled to take place on 15th and 16th May 2021.

Each day, the action will start at 16:15 CET, leading up to the grand final which is scheduled to begin at 17:45 CET on 16th May 2021.
