Every multiplayer video game, be it on console, PC or mobile, has servers, and these servers go down from time to time. Call of Duty: Mobile is no different in this respect. Server issues and downtime, no matter how robust the developer's efforts, are inevitable. 

If you are wondering if the COD Mobile servers are down, or if you should start inspecting your internet connection, then we've got you covered. 

Are the COD Mobile servers down?

It is always worth checking if your internet connection via a network cable or Wi-Fi, is solid and working properly if you are suffering from connection issues in COD Mobile before blaming the servers.

COD Mobile receives multiple updates each month, and as this happens, there might be some server issues.

At the time of writing, on 16th December 2021, the COD Mobile servers are currently not down. This could, however, change when an update such as the one for Season 11 (or future updates) occurs.

How to check COD Mobile server status

Unfortunately for COD Mobile players, Activision's Online Services does not offer up an option to select the mobile sensation. However, there is another way to check the server status of COD Mobile.

You can head on over to DownDetector's page for COD Mobile to check the server status for the past 24 hours, and even submit a report if you are experiencing connection issues.

Further, players can check out the official Activision Support Twitter account, which updates followers on the COD Mobile server status, as well as the game's official Twitter account.

Before going full-on IT Crowd on your gaming equipment and router, remember to first check if the COD Mobile servers are down due to either an unplanned outage or scheduled maintenance for an update.
