The best DR-H loadout in COD: Mobile

The DR-H is one of the steadiest assault rifles in COD Mobile but that doesn’t mean just any attachments will maximize your potential for kills.

When Season 9 of COD Mobile introduced the DR-H assault rifle, fans across the community rejoiced. Longtime veterans of the Call of Duty franchise will instantly recognize the DR-H as the Scar AR from some of the older titles in the series.

Games like Modern Warfare 3 and Black Ops 2 popularized the Scar to the point where it’s among the most-beloved weapons in the franchise.

Within COD: Mobile, the weapon behaves similarly to how it did in the past. A slow fire rate with a high damage output is what players can expect when using the DR-H for the first time.

However, in order to truly shred your opponents, you’re going to want some specific attachments.

Since the DR-H has such a high damage output, you don’t need to stock up on damage-increasing attachments. While more DPS is never a bad thing, focusing more on recoil control and range is a better route to follow. Of course, that doesn’t mean the best loadout for the DR-H won’t feature a boost to its overall damage.

  • Optic: Red Dot Sight
  • Stock: MIP Strike Stock
  • Underbarrel: Strike Foregrip
  • Rear Grip: Stippled Grip Tape
  • Ammunition: 25 Round OTM Mag

With this particular loadout, we’re opting for a little bit of everything. An increase in the range, accuracy, and damage is all on the table. Perhaps the most important aspect of the loadout is the 25 Round OTM Mag. This kind of ammunition increases the base damage by about 20 points but also reduces your mobility.

However, this is counterbalanced by the Stippled Grip Tape, which allows you to bring your gun up faster after sprinting. If there was one aspect of the loadout that’s interchangeable, it’s the Red Dot Sight. Some fans might enjoy the DR-H’s iron sights but others might need an optic to help when aiming.

If you feel you don’t require an optic, the OWC Laser is a terrific addition that directly benefits your hip fire and accuracy overall.
