Heroic have been without a coach since the surprise removal of Luis "peacemaker" Tadeu before ESL One Cologne 2019. Players were seemingly unaware that peacemaker was going to be removed from the organisation ahead of the event, but they managed to finish 7-8th.

This is not the first outing as coach for LOMME. He briefly coached under Heroic in 2016 and has since played with North Academy, Unity and Tricked. It will be his first coaching role in almost three years since he left the organisation.

In the official announcement there is a statement from Heroic COO Kucherov Aleksey explained the reasoning behind bringing back LOMME:

"Frederik allows us to maintain the Danish language among the team which of course will be a positive thing. He understands the side of professional players well, such as their thoughts and mood in different situations. That’s why Frederik is a great addition in the Heroic family and together we will achieve better results. Thanks for supporting us. Looking forward for a new CSGO season."

Over the past year, Heroic has grown from a top 30 into a top 20 team that has improved rapidly. Since Niels Christian "NaToSaphiX" Sillassen joined, they have hit their highest peak ever at #13. However, the team missed out of playing the upcoming StarLadder Major in Berlin with a loss to NoChance in the Europe Closed Qualifier.

The next LAN tournament for Heroic will now be ESL Pro League Season 10, which is expected to once again take place at the ESL Studios in Leicester throughout October and November. They will be hoping for a repeat performance of last season which saw them through to the Finals in Montpellier, with a respectable finish in a group containing Astralis and eventual finalists G2 Esports.
