GuardiaN replaced by Perfecto on Natus Vincere roster

Natus Vincere has signed Ilya “Perfecto” Zalutskiy from Syman Gaming, who will replace player Ladislav “GuardiaN” Kovács.
GuardiaN replaced by Perfecto on Natus Vincere roster

In a post on their official website, Perfecto’s transfer will see him become a rifler on Natus Vincere’s CS:GO team, with Oleksandr "s1mple" Kostyliev switching back to AWP.

GuardiaN has been benched, ending his second run with Na’Vi after returning to the team in September 2019. His return saw him take over as AWP from s1mple.

The position switch however hasn’t paid off at tournaments, with their biggest success since being the ESL Pro League season 10 in December where they reached the semi-finals.

Speaking about the change, Na’Vi’s head coach, Andrii "B1ad3" Gorodenskyi, said: “A few days after the Epicenter, we spoke with players and agreed that the squad did not have the synergy we expected to reach by the end of the year.

“Everybody tried and the progress was noticeable. However, in crucial moments of the match we did lack the coherence, when you react to the opponent’s actions as one, indivisible unit.

“One of the reasons is the language barrier, which was especially obvious during the game against tier-1 teams, where the quality and speed of communication is of a great importance.”

GuardiaN’s replacement Perfecto, 20, has gained a strong reputation playing for Syman, although he doesn’t have much experience playing against top tier teams.

“Despite the lack of experience, Perfecto fits in our team perfectly due to his personality, manner of thought and playstyle,” Andrii added.

“He is a young, talented player and dedicated player. I would like to express my gratitude to Syman Gaming for the utmost constructive approach to negotiations.”
