CD PROJEKT RED has confirmed that the anticipated expansion for Cyberpunk 2077, Phantom Liberty, will launch on 26th September 2023. With pre-ordering available for console and PC, the expansion looks to attract new players, similar to what the Edgerunners update did for the game.

As new players are likely to jump into the wonders of Night City, especially on PC, you're looking to finetune your settings to get the best possible results in-game. We've gone through the files to detail the best and optimal settings on PC to get high performance for Cyberpunk 2077.

As mentioned before, Cyberpunk 2077's Phantom Liberty expansion will be launching later this year, and based on the trailers released, we can expect new players to head to Night City. Naturally, this requires a high-performing graphics card and enough RAM to ensure the game runs smoothly. These settings are expanded on from a popular video made by the team at Digital Foundry, who initially provided a baseline for determining the best settings to "improve performance."

For consideration, this is the current and updated PC System Requirements, based on its listing from the Epic Games Store and Steam:

  • DirectX: Version 12
  • Storage: 70 GB available space (and a SSD is required)
