What is Exterminauts? - Dead By Daylight Devs New Game Leaks

Dead by Daylight developers Behaviour Interactive may be widely known for the hit 4v1 horror game Dead by Daylight, but the studio makes other games, too.

It was recently leaked by a known data miner that Behaviour Interactive is working on a game called Exterminauts.

Here is everything we know about Exterminauts so far so you can get excited about what's to come from Behaviour Interactive. 

What Is Exterminauts?

'Exterminauts' is the supposed name of Dead by Daylight developers' upcoming game.

Known data miner Leaks by Daylight predicted the Dead by Daylight dating simulator, Hooked On You, in a May 2022 post weeks before Behaviour Interactive officially revealed it.

The leaker found out about the new game as Behaviour filed a trademark application in the name of 'Hooked on You.' Trademark applications are made public, so anyone can see who has filed one and for what. 

The data miner applied the same method to predict the release of Exterminauts, as Behaviour Interactive filed a trademark for the name in March 2022. Still, it's possible that the name could be a code name and the game will end up with a different title once completed. 

The studio's trademark registration is "intended to cover the categories of...computer video games" and other digital game formats, suggesting that the studio's new project is, in fact, another game. 

It makes sense that leakers found a trademark application in Behaviour Interactive's name, as the team announced they were working on new projects in the 6th anniversary stream back in June.

The release date, as well as the content of the game and whether it relates to Dead by Daylight in any way, is currently unknown. Behaviour Interactive will likely release more details soon as the game's development continues, so stay tuned.
