One of many optional objectives in Demonologist is to complete the pentagram ritual. It's a mysterious ritual that requires you to interact with the ghost and get out of your comfort zone a bit. By completing it, you'll be able to Exorcise the ghost.
Because this quest doesn't have instructions in-game, it can certainly be confusing when it comes to figuring out how to use the pentagram once you find it. Don't fret - in this guide, we'll explain how to perform the pentagram ritual in Demonologist so you can complete this optional objective and earn some extra cash.
How To Perform The Pentagram Ritual In Demonologist
The Pentagram ritual will spawn a pentagram in one of the rooms on the map. To perform the ritual, you'll need to locate it first; it'll only spawn once the ghost type has been selected by all players in the party. Pentagrams can spawn at three set locations on each map; you'll be able to find it by searching each of those rooms. To determine which rooms to search, find the biggest rooms on the map; the pentagram is a large spawn, and it needs a lot of space.
When you find the pentagram, you'll know it; as we mentioned, it takes up a lot of space, and players can easily see it with their own eyes without the help of any additional ghost-hunting equipment.
Once you find the pentagram, simply stand inside it for 30 seconds. You'll know you're done when you hear a distinctive sound. Unfortunately, this can be pretty risky; staying in one spot is almost never a good idea in Demonologist, so you have the potential to trigger a hunt. If a hunt does occur, you'll want to be prepared with a Crucifix in hand. You might also want to consider popping some Sanity Pills before you begin the ritual to make sure your Sanity doesn't dip while you're performing it.
That's it for how to perform the Pentagram ritual in Demonologist. While this objective might seem challenging to complete at first glance, it's actually one of the easier quests in the game if you come prepared and know what you're doing.
