How To Farm Candy In Destiny 2 Festival Of The Lost

Festival of the Lost is upon us! It's going to take a lot of Candy to get everything you want out of the event, so let's go over the best ways to get some.

Bungie

Festival of the Lost, the Halloween-adjacent Destiny 2 event, has made its annual return. That means that players only have a few weeks to collect as many of the goodies that come with it as they can. While we've gone over the new Eerie Engrams, their Loot Tables, and how Hocus Focusing works in general, we all know the best way to play Destiny isn't just chasing loot; it's all about min/maxing your time and getting the most out of it.

To acquire all of the coolest things that this event has to offer, you're going to need some Candy... a LOT of Candy. So we've compiled a few spots that we think are the best places to hang out in to get some of that sweet stuff especially quickly. Here's how to farm Candy in Destiny 2: Festival of the Lost 2023

Auntie Eva loves these sweet treats!

How To Farm Candy In Festival Of The Lost 2023

Candy in Destiny 2's Festival of the Lost is easy enough to get, but there are some things to keep in mind. First, make sure that you equip Masquarder's Hood that Eva gives you when you first talk to her at the tower. Without it on, you won't earn any Candy. Speaking of which, once you have your mask on, just play the game and kill enemies. Doing this will earn you Candy at a fairly standard pace. If you're looking to speed up the process, we have some great choices for you to select from.

Grasp Of Avarice Opening Encounter

The Grasp of Avarice's opening encounter is perfect to farm Candy in!

This is my personal favorite method as standing just far back enough will cause the Thralls and Acolytes in the opening encounter of the Grasp of Avarice Dungeon. Just boot it up and get cozy - this one will last a good while. It is important to note that you must own the 30th Anniversary Pack in order to run the Dungeon at all, so make sure you have it if you decide to follow this method. Grasp is a great Dungeon anyway, so it's a win-win.

Last Wish Shuro Chi Encounter

The Shuro Chi encounter is another great spot to farm some adds. Load into the Last Wish Raid, make your way to the Wish Wall, and enter the code above to be instantly teleported to the Shuro Chi encounter. Here, just walk up to the door, let all of the Taken Thrall run out at you, and slay to your heart's content. Again, this Raid does require paid content in the Forsaken Pack, but don't worry, we have one more choice that is sure to get you going if you're more of a Free To Play player.

Vault Of Glass Opening Encounter

The Vault of Glass' opening encounter is both free and a great spot to farm!

The Vault of Glass has an opening encounter that requires players to build a Spire to open the door to the Vault itself. The great thing about this encounter, however, is its lack of a failure state. Players can hang out in this little corner of Venus and wear down the infinitely spawning Vex to get their Candy farm rolling. The best part of this option is that it is completely free to all players. If you're not partial to paying for additional content in Destiny 2, this is a great way to get your Halloween on.

Bonus: Candy in the Tower

Candy with a view

The Tower has a fair amount of Candy that players can re-collect after each Tuesday Reset during the event. Both the tree behind Eva and the tree in the Bazaar offers a not-so-healthy amount of Candy for players to parkour their way up to. Don't forget to climb the trees, Guardian!
