Throughout the year, Bungie brings different seasonal events to Destiny 2. Every season hosts at least one such free event, be it the Festival of the Lost or The Dawning. Guardian Games is one of these free seasonal events in Destiny 2 that works slightly differently from the other events. Destiny 2 Guardian Games 2023: Start Time
While Bungie hasn't officially revealed the start time of Guardians Games 2023, a new report from Insider Gaming suggests that the event will kick off on 18th April 2023.
If the leak is to be believed, this year's Guardians Games will kick off over half a month before last year's, which began on 3rd May 2022 and concluded on 24th May 2022. However, since there's no evidence to back up this alleged claim, fans should take this information with a grain of salt.
Destiny 2 Guardians Games 2023: How To Play
Unlike other Destiny 2 seasonal events, Guardians Games doesn't add new activities for players to complete. Instead, players earn medallions by playing any activity (Strikes, Crucibles, Gambit, etc.), which they can turn into the Tower Podium to earn points for their class. As for new players, first, they must unlock The Tower and speak to Eva Levante in the Courtyard to gain access to the Guardian Games.
Destiny 2 Guardian Games 2023: Rewards
While Bungie hasn't officially revealed the rewards for this year's Guardian Games, players could expect a few things. In Guardian Games 2022, Bungie brought new Guardian Games Armor set for all classes and a new legendary SMG called "The Title." There were also new Guardian Games-themed Ornaments for purchase in the Eververse store. Players could expect something similar in Guardian Games 2023.
