How to Unlock the Manticore Exotic SMG in Destiny 2

Lucky for you, the Manticore exotic SMG is part of the battle pass in Destiny 2 Season of the Seraph. Buying the battle pass will unlock it instantly for you. Otherwise, you can acquire it by reaching season rank 35 on the free battle pass.

The Manticore exotic SMG also comes with a shiny new ornament, which you can unlock via the premium battle at season rank 100.

The Manticore has two new traits. They are: 

• Soaring Fangs: "Dealing damage while grounded charges antigrav repulsors. Dealing damage while airborne extends antigrav repulsors."
• Swooping Talons: "Dealing damage while airborne increases this weapon's damage output.

Unlock Manticore exotic SMG Catalyst in Destiny 2 Season of the Seraph

The Manticore exotic SMG also comes with a catalyst, which you can acquire after unlocking the weapon. Once you have the Manticore, talk to Banshee-44 in The Tower to pick up the catalyst quest.

The quest, 'Volantes Violentiam,' has three steps, and completing them will get you the Flying Monster catalyst.
