Where To Use Security Clearance Upgrade in Destiny 2 Season of the Seraph

Destiny 2 Season of the Seraph is turning out to be the best Destiny 2 season of Year 5, thanks to the sheer number of activities and rewards that you can pursue.

Naturally, there are also seasonal vendor upgrades that you can unlock for additional loot drops. In Season of Seraph, there's an upgrade path called Infiltrator Gear that you can unlock after completing the new Exotic quest "Operation: Seraph's Shield" or progressing the seasonal quest "More than a Weapon."

One of the Infiltrator Gear upgrades called Security Clearance allows you to interact with terminals to open locked doors in Heist Battleground seasonal activity. Here's exactly where to use the Security Clearance upgrade in Destiny 2 Season of the Seraph.

Security Clearance upgrade: Where to use

Use the terminal opposite of the Mayahalati Submind Vault to gain an additional Refraction Core.

You can use the Security Clearance upgrade in Destiny 2 Season of the Seraph right outside the Mayahalati Submind Vault. Instead of going left or right to get Refraction Cores, turn around and climb to the top of the platform opposite the vault.

Use your weapons to shoot the three temporary seals that appear before the vault.

Here, access the console and shoot the three temporary seals that appear before the vault. Shooting these will provide you with a temporary Refraction Core, which you can use to destroy the Hive Shields. And that's it.

The only advantage of the Security Clearance upgrade in Season of the Seraph is that it saves your time from going left and right to get Refraction Cores to shoot the Hive Shields.

The Security Clearance upgrade offers a similar resolution in the mission "Operation: Seraph's Shield," but we have yet to try it for ourselves.

That concludes our guide on where to use the Security Clearance upgade in Destiny 2.
