Here's your guide on how to get Gears in Don't Starve Together so you can build weapons and more.
Where To Get Gears In Don't Starve Together

Gears are by far one of the most useful resources you can obtain in Don't Starve Together. They can be used to build helpful tools like weapons and buildings. All in all, they're essentially one of the key resources you'll need to keep yourself alive in the game. Yes, you can revive, but it's better to not die in the first place.

If you don't know how to get them, you'll definitely want to learn so you can live for longer and survive through every season, including winter. Let's look at how to get Gears in Don't Starve Together.

How To Get Gears In Don't Starve Together

There are a few different methods for getting Gears in Don't Starve Together. In fact, this version of the game adds some new methods that weren't possible in Don't Starve. Here's a look at all the ways to get them:

Kill Clockwork Mobs

There are several different mobs in Don't Starve Together, including Clockwork Knights, Bishops, and Rooks. All of them will drop 2 Gears when killed, making this a highly reliable way to get Gears. However, you'll have to remember that these mobs do not respawn, so once they're dead, you'll have to find an alternative way to get gears. In the early game, this is the best way to get them.

Dig Up Graves

If you run out of mobs to kill or just want to try out another method to earn more Gears, you can also dig up Graves for a 3.07% chance of landing a Gear. While you won't always get Gears this way, it's fairly reliable. Like mobs, though, Graves don't respawn, so you can easily run out of them if you aren't careful.

Tumbleweed

In some versions of Don't Stave Together, Gears are hard to come by later on, once you run out of mobs and graves. In Don't Starve Together, though, you can actually get unlimited Gears by taking the right approach.

The last method to getting Gears in Don't Starve Together is specific to this edition of the game; you can find items from Tumbleweed, which spawn fairly often and have a relatively high chance of giving you Gears. Check every Tumbleweed you can to maximize the number of Gears - and other resources - you earn.

That's all you'll need to do to get Gears in Don't Starve Together. You can use this resource for a lot of different purposes, so be sure to stock up on it if you can!
