Since the Dawnbreaker update, Valve has continued to deploy patches to balance the game for Dota 2 fans. In the latest gameplay update released on 30th April 2021, the developer has made another round of item and balance changes, including some nerfs to Beastmaster, the latest hero Dawnbreaker, and much more. Solar Crest

  • Attack speed bonus reduced from 65 to 55

Ring of Basilius

  • Self mana regen bonus reduced from +0.6 to +0.5

Sange and Yasha

  • Regen amplification reduced from 30% to 25%

Kaya and Sange

  • Regen amplification reduced from 30% to 25%

Sentry Ward

  • Stock replenish time reduced from 85 to 75
 

Hero balance changes in Dota 2 7.29c patch notes

As mentioned at the start of the article, the likes of Beastmaster and Dawnbreaker have received a smack from Valve's mighty nerfbat. Speaking of which, Batrider has actually received some buffs, and there are quite a few other heroes also receiving balance changes.

Batrider

  • Movement speed increased from 295 to 300
  • Attack range increased from 375 to 400

Beastmaster

  • Wild Axes - Scepter no longer provides bonus damage
  • Inner Beast - Attack speed increased from 10/20/30/40 to 15/25/35/45
  • Level 15 Talent increased from +300 Health Beastmaster Controlled to +350
  • Level 20 Talent increased from +30 Boar Damage to +35
  • Level 20 Talent reduced from -35s Primal Roar Cooldown to -30s

Broodmother

  • Spin Web - Scepter no longer unlocks maximum movement speed

Centaur Warrunner

  • Hoof Stomp - Cooldown increased from 15/14/13/12 to 18/16/14/12
  • Level 10 Talent reduced from +6 Health Regen to +5

Dawnbreaker

  • Agility reduced from 20 + 2.4 to 14 + 1.7
  • Celestial Hammer - Manacost increased from 110 to 110/120/130/140
  • Level 10 Talent reduced from +8 Strength to +7

Grimstroke

  • Ink Swell - Movement speed bonus reduced from 12/14/16/18% to 10/12/14/16%
    Stun duration rescaled from 1/1.9/2.8/3.7 to 1.1/1.9/2.7/3.5
  • Level 15 Talent reduced from +20% Ink Swell Movement Speed to +16%

Hoodwink

  • BUSHWHACK - Radius increased from 250 to 265 Stun duration increased from 1.4/1.7/2/2.3 to 1.5/1.8/2.1/2.4 Projectile speed increased from 1000 to 1200

Invoker

  • Wex - Attack speed bonus reduced from 2/4/6/8/10/12/14 to 1/2/3/4/5/6/7

Keeper of the Light

  • Spirit Form - Illuminate heal increased from 30/40/50% to 30/45/60%
  • Cooldown reduced from 80/75/70 to 70

Kunkka

  • Base movement speed increased from 305 to 315

Lycan

  • Movement speed increased from 305 to 315
  • Level 10 Talent increased from +15 Damage to +20

Magnus

  • Intelligence gain increased from 1.7 to 2.1

Monkey King

  • Boundless Strike - Stun duration increased from 0.7/1/1.3/1.6 to 1/1.2/1.4/1.6
  • Boundless Strike - Cooldown rescaled from 22 to 23/22/21/20
  • Tree Dance - Night vision increased from 400 to 600
  • Level 10 Talent changed from +400 Tree Dance Vision to +50% Tree Dance Vision

Morphling

  • Agility gain reduced from 4.3 to 4.1

Nyx Assassin

  • Vendetta - Shard no longer breaks movement speed limit

Puck

  • Dream Coil - Cooldown increased from 80/75/70 to 80
  • Dream Coil - Break damage reduced from 300/400/500 to 200/300/400 (scepter to 300/450/600)

Queen of Pain

  • Scream of Pain - Radius increased from 525 to 550
  • Scream of Pain - Manacost rescaled from 80/100/120/140 to 85/100/115/130
  • Level 10 Talent increased from +9 Strength to +11

Snapfire

  • Lil' Shredder - Manacost increased from 50/60/70/80 to 50/65/80/95
  • Lil' Shredder - Buff duration reduced from 8 to 6 seconds

Terrorblade

  • Base strength increased from 15 to 16
  • Level 15 Talent increased from +25 Attack Speed to +30
  • Level 15 Talent increased from +250 Health to +275

Timbersaw

  • Flamethrower - Shard cooldown increased from 15 to 18
