The International 10 Collector’s Cache Volume II released as prize pool surges past $32 million

With the Dota 2 Battle Pass for The International 10 ending on 19th September, there's still over a month left to go, and quite a few things Valve needs to release. The latest release happened in the early hours of the morning on 15th August, in the form of the Collector's Cache Volume II, causing a massive increase in the prize pool.

TI10 Collector's Cache Volume II

The TI10 Collector's Cache Volume II features a wide variety of fantastic cosmetic items for several heroes, including a Rare set for Templar Assassin, a Very Rare set for Faceless Void, and an Ultra Rare set for Legion Commander.

You can purchase the TI10 Collector's Cache Volume II for $2.49 a pop, and if you open 14 of these treasures, you will receive 34 Battle Levels. As always, these treasures have escalating odds, which means the more you open, the better your chance of receiving one of the rare items.

You can also recycle unwanted cosmetic sets from this treasure for two Battle Levels.

This treasure will only be available to purchase for the next 30 days, and it is the only way to obtain these exclusive item sets. The Ultra Rare Legion Commander set will be marketable "sometime after The International 11 concludes", so basically, years from now.

The International 10 prize pool surge

Since the release of the Collector's Cache Volume II, we've seen a massive surge in the prize pool for The International 10. Keep in mind 25% of each sale on this treasure goes directly into The International 10 prize pool, while 75% goes to Valve.

The International 10 prize pool has grown by nearly $1 million in six hours since the release of the latest treasure. This is a mammoth growth, and at the time of writing, the prize pool sits at $32.5 million.

The International 10's prize pool is on track to eclipse TI9's record-breaking prize pool of $34.3 million.

If this year's prize pool breaks the TI9 number, Battle Pass owners get 10,000 Battle Points (10 levels). If the prize pool reaches the $40 million milestone, Battle Pass owners get another 10,000 Battle Points.
