There are more Vocations to unlock in Dragon's Dogma 2 outside of the initial offerings. Here's how to unlock the Magick Archer Vocation.

Players get four Vocations to choose from at the start of Dragon's Dogma 2: Thief, Fighter, Mage, and Archer. But more become available as you progress. One returning Vocation is the combo class Magick Archer, which allows the Arisen to combine magic with ranged weaponry.

But, like some of the optional Vocations, Magick Archer is locked behind a side quest. You also won't be able to claim this particular Vocation early, either.

Yes, the Magick Archer Vocation is in Dragon's Dogma 2, but it's linked to the side quest: "Put a Spring in Thy Step." This quest will become available after reaching the Agamen Volcanic Island.

You'll need to pass through Drabnir's Grotto, a maze-like cavern to the south of Battahl, and the only way to reach Agamen Volcanic Island. Soon after making your way through, you'll encounter an old man called Gautstafr who needs some wildflowers to help with his painful back. Any three wildflowers/herbs will do, after which he'll invite you to his home nearby to give you a reward.

Meet him at his home and, as he searches for a reward to give you, he'll mention that his back is hurting again and that a soak in the hot springs would help. But the road is paved with monsters, and an old man can't make it by himself. You'll need to offer to escort him.

After offering to escort Gautstafr to the hot spring, his wife doubts your intentions. Stating that often the people they encounter are not to be trusted. Despite his wife's pleas, Gautstafr agrees to let you escort him to the hotsprings.

The journey is pretty straightforward, but Gautstafr is an old man and moves slow. You'll also need to fend off a lot of enemies along the way. Should Gautstafr fall at any time, you can resurrect him with a Wakestone. But, if you journey carefully enough, it shouldn't come to that.

The hot spring is in the Volcanic Island Camp, a small settlement to the east. Once you deliver Gautstafr to the hot spring, his wife will appear saying she followed you all. She'll accept that she was wrong to doubt you and, as a reward, will offer to teach you the ways of the Magick Archer vocation. Speak to her again to receive the skill and unlock the Magick Archer.

You can then head over to the Vocation Guild to unlock and change into the new Vocation for 200 Dcp. Only the Arisen can equip this Vocation.
