In Elden Ring, there are a lot of different classes that you can be in the game. Throughout the game, that class will often be what guides you to choose how you will want to level up your character. Do you want to be a faith-based melee character? Do you want a character with high dexterity that causes a lot of bleed damage? Or do you want to be a mage-type character?
In the game, you will eventually level up and you will have to select which stat you want to increase so you can become a better and stronger version of your desired class. But there are some circumstances where you will want to change the course you are in and try something new. Here, we are going to go over how you can respec your character in Elden Ring.
How To Respec Your Character In Elden Ring
To start, respecing your character means that you want to change the stats of your character. Maybe you are a strength-based character currently, and you want to switch to being intelligence-based using spells instead. To do that, you will need to put all your strength stats into intelligence. To do that, you will need to beat a certain boss in the game.
You will need to defeat Rennala Queen of the Full Moon. She is located in Raya Lucaria Academy and is a required boss to beat the game. Once you do that, you will want to revisit the boss room right after you beat her and you will have the ability to respec your character in any way you want.
What Do You Need To Respec Your Character In Elden Ring?
Unfortunately, you cannot just Respec your character whenever you want. You will need a certain item to do so. You will need to get yourself some Larval Tears to respec your characters. Larval Tears is the item that Rennala will ask for so she can do what is known as the "Rebirth" process to Respec your character.
The good news is that you will not need multiple Larval tears to respec your character. You just need one Larval Tear to respec all of your stats. That means with each Larval Tear, you can completely change the class of your character. It will take a bit of effort to get to the point where you can respec, but it is well worth it.
